July Update from The Boss

Hello Gentlemen, just a note on a couple of things coming up at Wanaki.

This Sunday, for anyone playing in the Lawrence Welk Outing, we will be running a Men’s Club/Open Championship challenge. For a $10 cash bet, you will randomly pick a player that is playing in The Open Championship. Their score from Sunday Round 4, will be added to your NET score on Sunday…giving you a 2-player total. Cash prizes will be awarded based on the number of entries. Bring your cash and enter…it’s a fun side event.

As I had mentioned earlier in the season, Wanaki, in conjunction with “The First Tee of Wisconsin”, will be holding a club drive on July 27 from 10:00 to 2:00, to help support our young golfers who may need assistance with their equipment needs as they pursue their goals while playing this great game. I would like to see high school golfers and younger players alike, whether it be through competitive golf or just learning the game , to have the access to clubs they cannot only use at school, but have the ability to take these clubs home…giving them a reason to keep playing.
Anyone who brings clubs, bags, accessories, etc… for the First Tee, on July 27 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., will be entered to win golf certificates, gift cards, and other prizes.
