The 8th week of league was completed with no rain. The cards didn’t look too bad this week. Only a couple of errors. The teams involved have been notified. If you have a sub playing make sure you put their last name on the card. If a player fails to show, the opponent they were supposed to play only gets an automatic 5-1/2 points for the match. The non-showing player gets nothing. If you need a sub the best and fastest place to get one is at the Mens Club website. Fill out the request and pick which sub list you want the request go out to and submit it. Often times you may get a call back within minutes. Occasionally there are a few players hanging around on each the league nights looking for a team to sub for. Keep making a notation to those playing GOLD tees. AGAIN, Every foursome was able to get off the tee on time and the flow was quite good. Division 1 flew around their nine and finished a good 25 minutes ahead of DIV2. Want to compliment all of you who remember to take the flags out as well as those remembering to pick them up at the end. Remember there is no league over the week of the 4th of July.

There were 21 total birdies. 9 from Div 1 and 12 from Div 2. There were 4 birdies with player NOT-IN. Ken “The Pharmacy” Kruk and the one with the flashy golf shirts did not get in the skins and it cost him dearly, boo hoo!! Jeff Fuggiasco had 4 birdies on the way to a 34 and Andy Fix had 2 birdies in his round of 33. Great play!!! Skin winners are:
