The 14th week of league is now in the books. There was only 1 minor error on the cards. Congratulations to you all for finally getting it correct. There is only one night left for match play until we have position night on August 28th. The schedule for match play on August 21st will be that of June 5 which was cancelled due to rain. That can be seen on the regular schedule. It is also listed below. Position night schedule will come out just before play on the 28th so be looking for that. It should be at the end of the next greeting note on the website showing the results of the 21st matches. As we did last year after the regular season is over we will have a two week playoff between Division 1 and Division2. Jim is trying to figure out tee times for this. Each player will have to pay their own fees for this. It is not in the league fees for Wednesday night. A few things to consider if you are qualified to play in it. First, it will be between the top 8 teams in each division only. Second, if your team does not want to or can’t participate in this play you have to let me know so the next team in line can play. Third, no subs can play unless they are from the teams with multiple players in each division. Fourth, the handicaps will be from your play only at Wanaki during the Wednesday night league. I have kept all of your scores and the formula for determining the handicaps will be that of Marty Cherney, my predecessor in which I have continued to post to his table. Some of you may have a 2 stroke adjustment. If I don’t get enough teams to play then they will be parred down from 8 to 7 to 6 if necessary. It’s just bragging rights so let me know if your team is willing to play. Any errors have been communicated to the teams involved. The standings are also listed below.
